About Heybrook Music
Heybrook Music was formed by two friends who came together as fellow sufferers of that common disease G.A.S (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome). The disease had first shown itself in Grahame Hill. It became so bad that he had to start work in a guitar store to be near more of them, and consequently has managed major guitar shops in London, Manchester and Liverpool for the last 20 years.
His business partner Martin Smith caught the bug comparatively late in life but it was a particularly virulent strain resulting in thirteen guitars (and counting) arriving in the Smith household.
As we are all aware, there is no known cure for G.A.S, so we decided to open a guitar business where we can help fellow sufferers get their chosen instrument. We have thoughtfully opened a shop where you can try the guitars before purchase and now we have this website if you can’t get to the shop.
We are an independent guitar business and we aim to offer superior service and value for money; coupled with a deep knowledge and enthusiasm for the guitar and all its associated amps, gadgets and paraphernalia
